Steiner Foods is a specialty food distribution company that serves the Tri-State area of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Located in New Rochelle, New York, Steiner Foods has been serving the gourmet market place since 1935. With a diverse roster of over 6,000 products, Steiner Foods is an important player in the New York area specialty food industry.
For a 20 year period, Comp Design designed and produced all aspects of the Steiner Food Catalog. This entailed cover and page design, supervision of product photography (which was done at Brian Urso studios) and supervision of all phases of color separation and printing.
When finished, the Steiner Catalog makes its debut at the New York Fancy Food Show held every year at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in NYC. This show is an important event for everyone connected to the specialty food industry. The Steiner Food Catalog is an important part of the show because of the large number of key players to be found on its pages.
